Why does the recommendation for my search differ from what I'm typing in?

This may be experienced for a few reasons when searching for an address, but some of the most common are the following:

Sometimes the address in our records will differ in spelling of common names like “street, drive, court, etc.” that may need to be adjusted to improve the search. Modifying these to some of the more common alternative ways of spelling or truncating them can help to improve this search experience. 

Sometimes the search will imply that you’re located somewhere that you are not. If you are seeing that the search recommends properties in another part of the country, continue typing and it will start to close in on the correct location.
